The City of Crikvenica has announced a public consultation on proposed amendments to the Selce Urban Development Plan, part NA4. The proposal will be available for public inspection from 23 September until 7 October 2026, on working days from 8.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kralja Tomislava 85 in Crikvenica. A public presentation will be held on 1 October at 5 p.m. at Vinodolska 1.
The most visible change concerns the former brewery area. The proposal would allow the existing junction to be rebuilt as a roundabout with a fourth arm towards the business zone and a future shopping centre. It also proposes converting a public green area into a business zone for a large shopping centre, while an area designated for community use would become protective green space.
Landowners, neighbours and businesses should compare their plots with the planning maps and consider the effect on access, traffic, neighbouring uses and future development. An effective comment identifies the relevant plot or planning solution, explains its effect and proposes a change. Comments may be entered in the consultation book, made during the public presentation, or submitted to the City in writing or by email to pisarnica@crikvenica.hr by 7 October. The submission must include the sender's legible name and address.
This is a draft plan under public consultation. A consultation report and the remaining adoption steps will follow after the comments have been considered.
