On 10 September, the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Assembly adopted a decision to launch a public tender for the sale of state-owned real estate in Malinska. The property is cadastral plot 3598, cadastral municipality Malinska-Dubašnica, with an area of 732 square metres, registered in land-register folio 2340. The decision states that the plot lies within the settlement's development area.

The starting price is EUR 202,000 and the deposit is 10% of that amount, or EUR 20,200. Natural and legal persons may apply, and the procedure will be conducted through written bids. The County Assembly decision sets the basic conditions of sale, while a separate tender notice will specify the deadline, address and submission method, together with the required attachments.

Several further steps follow for the selected bidder. Within 30 days of the selection decision, a draft sale and purchase agreement is prepared and submitted to the competent State Attorney's Office for an opinion. Following a positive opinion, the agreement is concluded within a further 15 days. The buyer then pays the price and the cost of the valuation report in a single payment within 30 days of concluding the agreement.

A location within a development area does not fully answer what may be built. Before bidding, a prospective buyer should check the permitted use and conditions under the current spatial plan, access to a public road, infrastructure, the shape of the plot, land-register encumbrances and any other restrictions.
