Vojko Braut is a lawyer with extensive experience in representing and advising clients in civil, commercial, administrative and public-law matters. He combines legal practice with first-hand knowledge of the public sector, investment processes and complex legal relations.

Education and professional career

He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Rijeka, and passed the Croatian Bar Examination in 2012. He began as a trainee lawyer in Rijeka, opened his own practice in 2013 and has worked in a joint law office with Petar Petrinić since 2014.

He works professionally in Croatian and English and holds the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English.

Real estate, construction and spatial planning

He provides legal support in the preparation and implementation of investment and development projects, including property relations, spatial planning, building approvals, construction contracts, land-register matters and representation in construction, property and administrative disputes.

Public and administrative law

He advises and represents clients in administrative proceedings and judicial review and on the operation of local and regional authorities, public institutions and other bodies governed by public law. His experience includes general regulatory acts, public-law and administrative decisions, concessions, municipal matters and projects where public interest, administrative procedure and property relations overlap.

Law of the sea and maritime law

His work includes maritime domain, concessions, determination of maritime-domain boundaries, management of maritime domain and legal matters concerning seaports. He has pursued further training in maritime law and marine insurance with the North of England P&I Club, now NorthStandard.

Public office

From 2021 to 2025, he served as Deputy Prefect of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. He previously served on Rijeka City Council and the County Assembly and as a member and president of the County Civil Service Tribunal.
